Anugraha – Residential Project
Anugraha is one of our residential projects. It is a residence which was built in the year 1975 which was wall on wall concept. Our role here was majorly renovation, we had to renovate it completely by removing few walls and increase the extra space to the terrace area and introduce supporting columns. The initial vision for Anugraha was to make the place more spacious by creating minimalistic modern look and adding extra space for the purpose of better utilization. Anugraha is an exclusive project where the design does not consist of one style, it has combo of modern designs and traditional touch. It was the process of balancing the neutrals, by interlinking with colors, patterns, textures and creating balanced background.
It was configured as G+2 floors where ground floor consists of living area, kitchen, dining area, bedroom and powder room. First floor consists of three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Second floor consists of media room, servant room, terrace, utility room. The interiors for the residence was designed in very simple and minimalistic design with neutral colors and some places of the house has Indian Traditional touch like the Mandir is designed in the Kerala style to create more propitious and positivity. Further the interior designing has interlinked with the combinations of colors like Aqua tones, Beige, Brown, Grey and shades of white, which created breezy and balanced look. Adding on to it the modern accessories created the aesthetic look for the house which constitutes the spacious and elegant lifestyle of the house. Materials used to design elements are Teak wood for dining, solid woods for movable furniture, staircase and fabrics from various brands to achieve the color tones, white teak to pooja room, vitrified tiles for floor, POP for false ceiling. An interesting story which comes to mind about Anugraha is that the way designs where created to achieve modern look in old constructive house where it should not look like old style but more like refurbished house. Here the design evolved by adding metallic colors and patterns and by hiding the structural elements with design elements to revolve around the structural abilities. So Anugraha was a wholesome experience of satisfying client’s requirements with the best output of our perfection.
